CURRENT FACILITY STATUS

The U of I Swim Center is currently closed for annual maintenance and facility preparations and will reopen Monday, Aug. 24. Regular fall hours will begin Aug. 24 and continue through Dec. 23, 2026.

The Swim Center is open for swimming at different times in the morning, around lunchtime and in the evening on weekdays. On weekends, swimming is available from noon to 3 p.m.

Closed for Labor Day.

Sept. 12 and 19

Closed for scheduled high school swim meets.

Sept. 18

No evening lap swim because of the Water Week Swim Up Movie.

Oct. 10, 24 and 25

Closed for scheduled university and community swim meets.

Oct. 23 and 30

No morning lap swim because of Navy ROTC testing.

Nov. 6 and 7

Closed for Vandal women’s swimming and diving meets.

Nov. 26 and 27

Closed to the public for Thanksgiving break.

Dec. 24-Jan. 3

Closed to the public for winter break.
