The U of I Swim Center is one of the Inland Northwest’s premier aquatics facilities, serving University of Idaho students, employees and the surrounding community in a safe and welcoming environment.
The 33,839-square-foot facility features two 25-yard pools designed to support lap swimming, recreation, instruction, fitness, academic programs and competitive athletics.
From first-time swimmers to experienced athletes, everyone has a place in the pool.

Two Pools. Countless Possibilities
COMPETITION POOL
Our eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool supports lap swimming, aquatic fitness, academic classes, swim meets and team training. The pool also includes two diving boards and is home to Vandal women’s swimming and diving.
TEACHING POOL
Our four-lane, 25-yard warm-up and teaching pool provides a flexible setting for swim lessons, skill development, recreation and other aquatic programming.
Together, the two pools make it possible to support swimmers with different goals, abilities and levels of experience throughout the day.
